GOVT. I.T.I (WOMEN), CUDDALORE

       This Institute started functioning in August 1981 with the Trades of Draughtsman (Civil), Draughtsman (Mechanical), Mech. (Radio & TV), Stenography (English), Stenography (Tamil) and Cutting and Tailoring. With the needs of the society, the additional trades of Computer Operator and Programming Assistant, Electronic Mechanic (MRTV upgraded, & ICTSM were introduced.

          Short term courses Tailor and Embroidery are conducted under the guidelines of TNSDC.

          Under PPP Scheme SOT (Embroidery) Trade is conducted since 2012.

          In August 2016, our trainee C. Kowsalya Mary D’man (Mech) won the Best Trainee Award in National Level All India Skill Competition.

          Stenography Tamil Trainees won the First Place in the Exams conducted by Dept. of Technical Education in the years 2013, 2015 and 2016.

          Apart from this our trainees participated and won Regional level, State level sports meet in Athletics and Games and also involved in NSS activities.
